Our Annual Impact

Christ Child Society of Omaha is dedicated to assisting individuals of all faiths and backgrounds through various programs aimed at helping children and families in need. In 2024, we provided baby essentials to mothers and newborns. In addition, Christ Child Omaha awarded substantial scholarships to single parent families, offering hope and support to families within our community.

2024 Impacts
  • $200,000 in scholarships

    Pledged a record amount in scholarships to help over 60 Christ Child scholarship recipients complete academic degrees at Bellevue University, College of Saint Mary, Nebraska Methodist College, and UNO.

  • 31 college graduates

    We celebrate these college graduates whose new careers create opportunity, stability, independence, and generational change for their families.

  • 2,267 layettes

    Packed and delivered a record 2,267 layettes across the Heartland, providing baby essentials to expentant mothers in need.

  • 150 Car Seats

    Provided 150 high-quality car seats to new and expectant moms through events at The Heart Ministry Center, Catholic Charities, and Essential Pregnancy Services.

  • 4 Book Stands

    Added four book stands across the Omaha area. Attractive tree-shaped book stands, with free books in English and Spanish, have been placed at One World WIC Clinic, Refugee Women Rising, Catholic Charities Food Pantry, and Guiding Grace.

  • 31 College Graduates

    Celebrated 31 college graduates whose new careers create opportunity, stability, independence, and generational
    change for their families.

  • $200,000 in Scholarships

    Pledged a record $200,000 in scholarships to help over 60 Christ Child scholarship recipients complete academic degrees at Bellevue University, College of Saint Mary, Nebraska Methodist College, and UNO.

  • Certificate Scholarships

    Provided certificate scholarships to four students to complete a Practical Nursing Certificate Program, and two students to attend a 2-year Cardiovascular Sonography Program.

  • Raised Over $20,000

    Increased visibility to new corporate and individual donors and raised over $20,000 at our 2nd Annual TopGolf event.

  • New Auxiliary Members

    Continued revitalizing auxiliaries with new members and meaningful work through enhanced planning and expanded layette opportunities.

  • Provided 2,267 Layettes

    Packed and delivered a record 2,267 layettes across the Heartland.

  • More Student Volunteers

    Strengthened our partnership with Skutt Catholic High School and Duchesne Academy where student volunteers at each school assembled 500 layettes at each school.

  • Extended Our Reach

    Extended our reach to young people by involving grade school and middle school students and confirmation groups in unpacking and assembling layette items over summer break.

  • Provided 150 Car Seats

    Provided 150 high-quality car seats to new and expectant moms through events at The Heart Ministry Center, Catholic Charities, and Essential Pregnancy Services.

  • 4 New Book Stands

    Added four book stands across the Omaha area.

  • Expanded Social Media Presence

    Expanded our presence on social media platforms and in the Metro Omaha Giving Guide to spread the word about Christ Child Omaha.

  • More Media Coverage

    Shared Christ Child’s impact through TV news media coverage of Christ Child events.

How You Can Get Involved

  • Donate to fund scholarships, layettes, car seats and literacy program. All donations serve families right in your community.

  • Volunteer to pack and deliver diaper bags to partner agencies or sew handmade blankets.

  • Become a Partner Agency to refer families in need to our services.

  • Join an Auxiliary Group to come together for fellowship and friendship, united in service to those in need.
