Nothing is ever too much to do for a child.
Christ Child Society of Omaha (CCSO) programs offer compassionate community support for children and families in need by providing essential resources, building opportunity, and strengthening our community — all with the goal of supporting the health, well-being, and success of the child.
-
The first month of life is the most vulnerable period for newborns. Our Layette Program provides parents with a diaper bag filled with newborn necessities they can use to support the health and well-being of their child during this precious time of life.
-
In partnership with social service agencies, we provide free, high-quality car seats to new and expectant mothers to support safe transportation of their children from their very first ride home.
-
Our Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to parents working toward college degrees or professional certifications. Helping single parents achieve their academic goals helps put their families on a path toward independence and success.
-
Our Literacy Program provides learning resources for children and parents, including a free digital library with hundreds of titles in more than 50 languages. We also provide books and health literacy resources for parents and English language learners. Offering literacy programs for children and adults encourages family reading habits that build school readiness and confidence.
