A Legacy of Love.

For 120 years, Christ Child Society of Omaha has quietly supported children and families in our community — one baby, one parent, one small act of love at a time.

We are a volunteer-driven nonprofit made up of people who believe that when we see a need, we respond.  And we’ve been doing just that since 1906.

What We Do — Practical Help, Real Impact

When families are stretched thin, even necessities can feel out of reach. Christ Child focuses on meaningful support that brings stability, dignity, and hope.

Scholarships: We provide financial assistance to parents working toward college degrees or professional certifications. In 2025, we awarded $275,000+ to help parents build stronger futures for their families.

Layettes: Each newborn deserves a warm welcome. Last year, our volunteers distributed 2,200 layettes filled with clothing and essential baby items.

Car Seats: Safety matters. We provided 220 high-quality convertible car seats in 2025, helping ensure safe transportation from the very first ride home.

Literacy: Books change lives. We place books into children’s hands and encourage family reading habits that build school readiness and confidence.
