  • The first month of life is the most vulnerable period for newborns. Our layette program provides parents with a diaper bag filled with newborn necessities they can use to support the health and well-being of children at the beginning of their lives.

  • Before a family leaves the hospital with their newborn, they must have a car seat to get their newborn home safely -- but not every family has the means to purchase one. Our car seat program provides convertible car seats to families so they can safely transport their child from day one through preschool.

    When parents achieve their academic goals, they gain knowledge, experience, and opportunities that can help them provide a better life for their children. Our scholarship program provides financial resources to single parents so they can pursue higher education and set an example of success for their children.

Christ Child Society of Omaha Auxiliaries

Looking for a meaningful way to serve your community?

Christ Child Society of Omaha Auxiliaries are welcoming groups of women who turn compassion into action. With more than 140 members across five auxiliaries, volunteers support local children and families through hands-on programs like newborn layettes, literacy initiatives, car seat distributions, and parent scholarships.

It’s a wonderful way to make a difference while building lasting friendships.

Annual membership is $60, with dues directly supporting Christ Child programs.

How You Can Get Involved

  • Donate to fund scholarships, layettes, car seats and literacy program. All donations serve families right in your community.

  • Volunteer to pack and deliver diaper bags to partner agencies or sew handmade blankets.

  • Become a Partner Agency to refer families in need to our services.

  • Join an Auxiliary Group to come together for fellowship and friendship, united in service to those in need.
