Scholarship Program Empowers Mothers, Strengthens Families

Christ Child Society of Omaha 2025 Scholarship recipient, Myiesha, with her children

One of the many ways Christ Child Society of Omaha uplifts children and families in need is through our scholarship program, which empowers single parents—primarily mothers—with significant financial need to achieve their academic and professional goals.

Since the program began in 2019, 80 mothers have earned bachelor’s degrees, associate’s degrees, or medical certifications with the help of Christ Child scholarships. These women are not only pursuing their dreams—they are also building sustainable careers that provide long-term stability and brighter futures for their families.

In 2025 alone, Christ Child Society awarded more than $250,000 in scholarships, opening doors to opportunity and hope that extend across generations. Each scholarship represents more than financial support—it’s an investment in education, dignity, and the belief that empowering mothers creates lasting change for their children and communities.

This gift not only helps me financially but also motivates me to continue striving for academic and personal excellence. Thank you again for your generosity and belief in my potential. I am committed to making the most of this opportunity and hope to one day give back to others just as you have supported me.

Christ Child Society’s scholarship program continues to remind us that when you help a mother succeed, you uplift an entire family—and build a stronger community for all.
