During Catholic Schools Week, the community at Mary Our Queen Catholic School truly lived out its mission of service by collecting an incredible 27,000+ diapers for CCSO. This remarkable effort will directly support mothers and babies in need throughout the Omaha community.
Students, families, and staff enthusiastically participated in the school-wide diaper drive, demonstrating generosity and compassion for others. To celebrate the students’ efforts, the classes that collected the most diapers earned the chance to compete in fun relay races—racing to dress baby dolls as quickly as possible. The event was filled with laughter and excitement and was a joyful way to recognize the students’ hard work.
Members of the CCSO Board also had the opportunity to speak with students about the organization’s mission and the impact their donations will make. These conversations helped connect the students’ generosity with the real needs of families in their community.
The overwhelming response from the Mary Our Queen school community is a beautiful example of faith in action. CCSO is deeply grateful for the kindness and support shown by the students, families, and staff. Their generosity will make a meaningful difference for local mothers and babies.
